A wonderfully rustic oak topped tilt table. The padfoot pedestal base is a different hard wood, but sits seamlessly beneath it. This table adds a lovely warm charm to any space, perfect to place a lamp or to play a game of cards around.
The Padfoot Penelope is aptly named after my dog Penelope, as the beautiful rays of the oak match that of her fur and the feet resemble her own, so who better to model beside it than Penelope Herself.
The table top can swivel all around and tilts up to store away if needed. There is a metal clasp and a little peg keeping the top attached to the base, which when removed means the entire top can be lifted off.
This table has been altered in the past, with a visible patch of wood underneath, however it adds to the character and history of the piece.
