My Story

Rose Palmer Designs began as a daydream, then a hobby, then a passion. A passion to find and restore beautiful handcrafted pieces of furniture back to their original glory.

Every piece I find is restored by hand to its original wood with a silky smooth touch. I only use natural products and pure elbow grease during this process, as I don’t believe harsh chemicals need ever to be used.

They are then finished off with natural oil to enhance its colour and a final coating of wax to seal the wood and protect it for years to come. This process allows the wood to breathe but remain protected from all the elements, from water stains, ring marks or the occasional coffee spill. Each piece is unique, with marks that tell it’s story, maybe a blot of ink still sits in a bureaux, or a little scratch caused by a careless cat - it all adds to the history and charisma of the piece.

Everything I use is sourced from the UK, from the furniture to the fixtures and all the products used on its journey.

After Care:

Beautiful wood deserves beautiful treatment. As these pieces are natural wood, protected by the oil and wax, an occasional wax and buff may be required to maintain its appearance. But do not fear, an after care gift is supplied with every piece bought. 

Delivery:

Collection available upon request - St Marybourne, Hampshire

Free delivery within a 15mile radius

£50 delivery cost added after 15miles.

If distance exceeds 15miles, then a courier cost will be added.

Delivery time will be communicated to the individual buyer, but it will aim to be between 2-7 days.
