The oak rays make for stunning detailing, complete with a beautiful brass art nouveau style knob, and a lockable drop front.
Inside there is a plywood removable divider, which I have left untouched, complete with a burn mark left by a previous owner. The back panel of the bureau is also plywood.
This bureau is full of charm, a few ink stains remain on the inside to tell the tale of all the letters written. The true marks of wood on the front and right side of the table add character .
